Who we are

Born on the Limmat

Smile Swim was born out of a simple observation: floating down the Limmat is one of Zurich's greatest summer joys - but getting hold of the right equipment was always a hassle. Too expensive to buy for a one-off day out, too bulky to transport, and too complicated to set up.

So we fixed that. We put together a carefully chosen fleet of premium inflatable equipment, found a spot just 2 minutes from the river, and made the whole experience as smooth as the Limmat itself.

Today, Smile Swim is Zurich's go-to rental for SUP boards, river rings, inflatable boats and unicorn floats - with a 5-star rating built entirely on word of mouth and happy customers coming back year after year.

The Limmat is Our Home

We're based at Wipkingerweg 6 in Zürich - 2 minutes walk from Wipkingerpark, right at the heart of the Limmat float route.

Zürich is blessed with extraordinary water. The Limmat runs clean and clear through the city, the Zürichsee stretches out toward the Alps, and within an hour you can reach half a dozen alpine lakes. We built Smile Swim to help people make the most of all of it.

Our SUP boards come in a backpack - take them on the train to the Greifensee, the Zürichsee, or wherever the summer calls you. Our inflatable rings and boats are perfect for the classic Limmat float from Wipkingerpark to Dietikon. And our unicorn floats? They're just pure joy.

We open every Friday to Monday from 09:00 to 21:00 throughout the summer season. Same-day rentals are always welcome - just send us a message on WhatsApp and we'll sort you out.
